Saturday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am up and getting ready for work today. I really don't want to but I figured, it's overtime and I'm only working a half a day. I will be working next Saturday too. It's quarter end for us and we are way behind. I shouldn't complain in this economy it's good to have a job, let alone overtime.
Yesterday. I got a fill. He put in .4 ccs, which takes me to 9.7 ccs. (I have a 11cc band) Well I will know in a little while when I eat breakfast how everything goes...and see how much restriction I have. But it always feels tight at first and then after awhile I'm wide open again. Oh well, patience is a virtue. I know people that had restriction after only 2-3 fills. They have half the ccs I have and they are already at their sweet spot. It figures I would have to have a band completely filled before I feel any restriction. My best friend says I need to stop comparing myself to others. I keep thinking...I wish I had RNY or DS. But I need to stop thinking that way and deal with what I do have.
Tomorrow, I have a baby shower to go to...it's for my friend Christine, who had her baby early. He is doing great. He is now 4.9 lbs and should be able to come home in about a month. YEAH!!!

A chilly good morning IL! I'm sitting at home waiting for my new mattress to be delivered. I can't wait! I'm been having such back problems that more often than not I sleep sitting up in a chair. I'm going to enjoy it soooo much tonight! :)
I've hit a small snag with my weight loss, but most of it is my problem. I need to start tracking and counting again. Oh, and exercising again might be beneficial. lol
After the delivery I'm off to the grocery store and to buy a b-day present for my SIL.

Crystal your friend is right..don't compare your loss with others. I know it is hard not to do that when your losing slow (I am a slow loser too) but slow is good. I'm sure your doing fine! Have fun at the baby shower tomorrow. I"m glad to hear the baby is growing and will be coming home soon.
Not much on my agenda today...I want to hibernate this week-end.

Good morning on this cold Saturday.
We had fun last night, meeting our Monica, Scott and Morgan for dinner and music in Morton. There was a group of adults and kids. We als o stopped at the Peoria boat, and payed homage to the slots for a bit. We also stopped at a fair trade place where I had a gift card to, that I needed to use.
Today, we might be going up to Yorkville to help fix the daughters refrig. We will see when DH gets back from the barbers.
Otherwise, its a keep warm,stay safe kinda day. If you are going out, dress warm,.

It is FREAKING cold out there! Good morning!
Today is my 6yr old sons Tae Kwon Do birthday party. We are having it at the martial art studio where he has his lessons. He is so excited I think we may have to peel him off the ceiling in order to go. His Master told him that they will be breaking boards today which is his favorite thing to do. A group of Kindergartners breaking boards, this should be pretty interesting! Favorite thing about this party for me is the studio is doing EVERYTHING! The cake, the goodie bags, the entertainment, set up, clean up. I actually get to just enjoy the party and take pictures! Usually I am so busy taking care of everything I miss most of the party!
After the party we are going to Peru to go shopping, need ink for the printer and then Menards to window shop. Fun times.

The sun isnt shining here down ont he Gulf Coast of Florida. There is even snow in the air!!!! I did see it...Tiny flakes!!!!! and it is about 30 degrees today......
I heading up to Chicago on a flight on the 23rd for one day. My neice is leaving for Africa for a year and we are having a party for her. I am surprizing her by flying up. I told my daughter that I was comming and she asked if I was moving in!!!!!
I started my new job on Monday. I am so glad to have a job to go to. I like having my money!!!!!
